Writing this book has been my calling for several years. Desiring more meaning, fulfillment and joy in my life, I embarked on a quest to actualize that aspiration. Your Owner’s Manual for Life is the synthesis of everything I’ve learned, believe and love. Participating in the transformations yielded through implementing the methodologies discussed herein has provided confirmation of the amazing capabilities inherent within us all. These experiences have appreciated my life and purpose, endowing more joy than I could have imagined.
When I was introduced to the holistic field, I stood witness to numerous testimonials of the healing, empowering capacities of energetic modalities and mindful Spirituality. Being a relentless seeker, researcher and avid skeptic, however, I was determined to obtain confirmation for myself ~ and I have experienced many. The factors contributing to the dis-ease in my life were complex and diverse on many levels, yet so simple to transform through sentience, self-actualization and mindfulness. Becoming aware of the Mind/Body connection and implementing the philosophies and tools herein yielded positive, enduring results on many levels. This was more than confirmation for me - It was profound transformation.
The preference for more sovereignty in our lives and frustration with conventional therapy and medicine is evident in the statistics and the people I encounter on an increasing basis. The World Health Organization estimates that between 65 and 80 percent of the world’s population now relies on holistic medicine as their primary form of health care. Research has shown intention to be a powerful force of nature which you can utilize in the creation of your life. By asking open-ended questions, releasing that which does not serve and living mindfully, you can channel this power to not only heal yourself, but purposefully design the life you prefer.
It’s often been conveyed by my family, friends and clients that I don’t perceive things the way that many of us are inclined to. I view this not only as a compliment, but also an asset because these same people have also commented “I’ll have what you’re having.” The truth is that I’ve come to perceive and appreciate things with more clarity and ease than ever before. Through meditation, living mindfully and working with my clients, I continue to experience and witness profound transformations and exhilarating joy on all levels.
